In Season 2 Episode 7, the cranes in the background were done by using practical stop motion animation, and then included in The Volume for this sequence. As noted on the panel earlier today by ILM’s Richard Bluff, which we live-tweeted.

My first puppet man. This one is circa 1962. Pure latex. Didn’t move so good. Rubber was better then and held up. . .

12/ The other guys in the bar are sparked by my rejection and egg one another on. On a dare, one approaches the woman and gets the same treatment that I did. Likewise rebuffed he returns to the table with his friends who chide him for being such a wimpy loser.

10/ I do something that I would never do in waking reality… I walk up to the pool table and tell the woman that I think that she is the most beautiful woman in the world. She does not acknowledge me. Am I invisible? Am I a ghost?
