Trump's hate speech? Pretty sure it is Democrat party (example Maxine Waters telling supporters to deny shutdown and harass anyone related to Trump administration) that is calling for violence. Do you have an example of Republicans calling for violence? I'm a neutral independent.

Mass Shootings happen everyday here. People become desensitized since it feels nothing can be done about it.

Imagine being responsible and able to shoot back...

imagine shooting someone on accident trying to get the shooter you don’t have to. the police do it in situations like this. and they’re trained.

I agree. Now is the time for journalists and reporters to get hostile environment training and medic training.

I don’t want to sound 100% naive, but I think maybe my country doesn’t think something like that could happen. I personally agree with both of you. It can happen at any time and anywhere. I’ve had moments where I post a story and it passes in my brain of something happening

The thing is, you never know where it might happen. Being prepared and not having to use the skill is a much better solution. Sadly, I see these attacks on the press as becoming increasingly common.

Absolutely. You never know. There are a lot of situations where someone could do something out of anger or whatever the situation is over even a simple story. I do agree people need to be more aware it can happen at any time and in any place
