    When North Carolina sent out a call for help with prep, we responded. A UMMC ambulance bus, a support truck & 3 personnel are on their way to Wilmington to assist with evacuation. The response is in collaboration with & with support from .

    So proud of personnel from the MS Office of Homeland Security and who have deployed to assist with rescue/recovery efforts from Hurricane Florence. People from all over the U.S. helped Mississippi after Katrina, and we are more than happy to pass it on. Godspeed to all.

    On Patriot Day, we remember nearly 3,000 precious souls taken on 9/11. Flags on state property will be lowered to half-staff as we mark this solemn occasion and honor those who have sacrificed in service to our country since that tragic day. 🇺🇸
