Not long ago, Senate judicial confirmations were free of openly partisan politics. Justices Scalia & Ginsburg each got 90+ votes. I'm going to vote for or against a nominee based solely on whether I believe them to be highly qualified & ethical, not based on partisan politics.

This is the right way to combat the extremists in the GOP. We have to get the moderate Republicans to side with us. Smart move, Phil, to put country over party. I wish the GOP had done the same with Garland. The party of trump (not conservatives) is a clear and present danger.

Do you mean you'll allow confirmation proceedings after the outrageous obstruction of Merrick Garland's nomination to the Supreme Court?

Phil - you have maybe the best chance to flip a Senate seat and are acting like a complete pussy. Please get a life and take one stand on an important issue. One

voting for Marsha wouldn't be much different than voting for you --- What choice is that? If you are more concerned with "playing along" than protecting the Constitution and the People (ALL the people) what good will you be ? Are you trying to Trump up?

Well Sir, I think you will be out of luck. The GOP will fill that seat before the election. You know they are hypocrites that way. @SenateMajLdr wouldn't even talk much less let a vote on Garland until after election. This time they are going to shove it through. Partisan Way.
