    Really wish all everyone devoting energy to ticking ppl off for using the word “vaccinated” in relation to ppl who’ve had a single dose instead channelled it into public health messaging telling the public not to change your behaviour after one dose.

    A million times this. This virus can be controlled. It's not easy, but it's doable. But we have to stop pretending our actions don't play into our failure to control . We can sacrifice some stuff now or sacrifices lives later. Those are the 2 options.

    To be clear: None of this is new or surprising. What we need to do to combat hasn’t changed. It has just become a bit harder and a lot more urgent. Story in 2021 is no different from 2020: We should have done more and we should have done it sooner.

    Astonishing. At Congress today.

    Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.) had something on him. I believe it was a gun because a cop made a side holster motion to another cop. They refuse to let him in. He goes toward the elevators, asks a member to take something from him, the member says he doesn’t have a license.

    Yep. I’m not happy about it either. But if you live here, get on the phone with your reps, send letters, emails, organize. I’ve been talking to my rep about the EA for a couple of years and I seem to be the only one. Stop tweeting only. Do the real work.
