Can you pls write a story @Peter_Fitz about the stunning win today by @Ajlatom She endured appalling treatment by the NY crowd who did not applaud her aces or winners. Took 6 match points to win, then was robbed of recognition by both Serena and organisers. Yet she stayed classy.

The 'she did it for longer' arguement doesn't land for mine. Graf and Court won their major totals over a shorter period which is logically harder to do. You also missed the fact that Court completed the Grand Slam and Graf the Golden Grand Slam. Graf the GOAT for me.

Dreadfully rude stadium for most of the 1st set and almost all of this 2nd set. Not respecting both players. Tomljanovic is really showing Williams and clawed back to level with Williams. I don't agree with everyone that Williams is great. I never have.
