    Great to see Vermont leading the way. I was honored to testify in support of this bill and will continue fighting to lower prescription drug prices in DC

    Vermont House votes 141 to 2 in favor of a bill that allows the state to import expensive prescription drugs from Canada at a much lower cost. The proposal would require a waiver from the federal government and backers are hopeful that will happen

    Cheers to Vermont maple! And to all the sugar makers who have sustained excellence in the face of many challenges. and I joined sugar makers today to oppose a potential new FDA rule that would require maple packaging to list the amount of added sugar it contains.

    To kick off , I toured a few of the many small businesses that fuel Vermont’s economy. At ’s in Williston I saw firsthand the high quality work they do on blinds, shades and window treatments. Who knew ’s blinds are popular in Australia!

    Stories like this are all too common. The pharmaceuticals market is broken. I introduced legislation to allow Americans to import FDA-approved, low-cost drugs from Canada. It’s great to see the Vermont legislature leading the way on this important issue.
