I don’t think I’ve ever felt such deep down gut wrenching anger as I do right now reading this heartbreaking story. It’s a shocking indictment of what we’ve allowed our society to become under this Government. It’s simply unbearablehttps://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/woman-wrongly-stripped-pension-dwp-15020141?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=mirror_main …

I am lost for words. This government is the worst in living memory. So sad.

Fuming - but the 'we' you mention - not all of us. Some of us saw this happening and resisted. Some of us declined the bribes, the baubles, bangles and beads, the shiny shit capitalism tricks you with. Some of us refused to comply. Some of us are socialists to the core.

That's simply appalling. Do DWP workers get bonuses for saving money by sanctioning people?

Someone in a DWP office must be responsible for this. There has to be recourse in law for negligence.

Surely for this the DWP must be indicted? Held legally accountable? There is no safety for anyone in this country if we accept that this is permissable as an 'administrative error'???

What an utter disgrace. DWP do not care about any who they see as a burden on society. They are unreservedly callously cruel. The Governments policies regarding the vulnerable of our society is nothing short of vile. How do DWP employees sleep at night I wonder?? Sickening 😠😢

There are far too many incidents after which inevitably the DWP promise to learn from the experience. That’s no consolation. If we don’t get shut of this despicable shower we only have ourselves to blame.

The Govt needs to introduce a system where one person is accountable for the decisions made for each DWP claimant. And in a case like this, they can be legally required to stand in a coroners court and explain their actions. All health care professionals have this responsibility

RIP to thos poor woman. What a totally unnecessary end for this woman. Persecuted & pride stripped by an establishment who attack each section of society. These are the types of tragic stories that we hear about everyday with no accountability for those whose policies kill
