This parking lot is always empty.
If there was focused bus route to this shopping complex, there would be much less cars than what we see (fraction of parking lot) these days.

This particular sea of asphalt is in Nashville, but you're right, it could be anywhere in America.
Another reason to forge a more Metro taxpayer agreement with the Titans, build a new stadium and free up large vacant parking lots for tax revenue producing development that includes attainable housing.
Important point, these spaces are so generic and the impacts so consistent, you can't tell what city is pictured without looking. 😑
