Most developers don't dare add geometry for the heart because 'you don't ever see it'. However, in my new game the heart can sometimes be seen clipping through the body. I am fighting to keep this 'bug' in, as it's a testament to the level of detail we put into our games

I can't believe I'm taking this tweet seriously but in "Carne y arena" you literally can clip inside the border patrol agents' bodies and see their hearts. (Presumably also the other NPCs, but I didn't try.) it sort of blew my mind.

I fixed a similar bug on GTA with the vehicle damage system causing passengers' bodies to clip through deformed car hoods/doors. I solved it by modulating per-vertex damage multiplier to prevent it 100% guaranteed. No additional runtime / memory cost whatsoever, just a data fix.
