I did write a script once for a Curiosity tv show. A giant cube falls from space and lands in Sweden. At first kids start to chip away at it, then gangs, then police and then the military. The series finale ends with a young girl chipping away at the final part of the cube. She then finds she becomes invincible and when she speaks the entire world can hear her. The closing shot is ANOTHER cube landing in South Africa.
Series 2 ends with someone chipping away at the last bit of the South Africa cube. At this moment, the young girl seemingly dies. She awakes in a mysterious chamber that seems to be falling, it crashes but she is safe. She then begins to hear chipping from far away.
Sounds like Damon Lindelof’s next project once he’s done with Watchmen.
