Isn't that what all open world games do when you start a mission?

Huh, but when you are put in a mission, most of the times you get put in a pre-arranged path from A to B, then you complete the mission and get put again in the "open world."

Ah... Like a Zelda Breath of the Wild with a circle shrink and you need, like Majora's Mask, go to the middle of the map (the closing point of the shrink) to reset the shrink ?
