Nice pod but you never talk about the real reason debt cannot be repaid: - we need sustained productivity which requires sustained energy production - energy production has been flat for 10 years (UK) and is not starting to decrease So there is just no solution to repay the debt

Peter any time all of the currency is lent out, monetary debasement is required in order to pay back the lender less there are defaults. Pensions and end of life healthcare programs (most healthcare is consumed end of life) are just 45+ year bonds.

I was almost worried about your lack of statism in this episode, Peter, but fortunately you brought up the "solution" of raising taxes 😄 You said it yourself: government IS the problem. Higher taxes=bigger government. Also, please keep #Bitcoin as the spine of the show.
