What an obnoxious and misleading title in WSJ. Of course Dr. Fauci knows that masks will eventually come off as we accelerate vaccinations and monitor declines in the VOCs. Instead @WSJ-opinion⁩ uses every opportunity to discredit science and scientistshttps://www.wsj.com/articles/dr-fauci-tear-off-these-masks-11617387381 …

Overt expressions of antiscience and even outright antiscience editorials and OpEds are now featured regularly in the WSJ. It is becoming the intellectual home of anti-intellectualism and Antiscience in America. Over the course of the pandemic it is losing its moral compass

Trump says has hunch 3.4% WHO fatality rate is inflated. Says will be fraction of 1%. Media goes nuts: He isn't listening to experts! Spreading misinformation! He is downplaying! US rate now: ~0.6% He knew the science.pic.twitter.com/idZSkxreUP

WHO, February 19, 2019. Estimated IFR 0.3%-1.0%. Seems to me that you are confused by CFR and IFR. https://www.who.int/docs/default-source/coronaviruse/situation-reports/20200219-sitrep-30-covid-19.pdf …pic.twitter.com/bN5hjQHl7M

WSJ and this op-Ed writer can go screw themselves Colds down, respiratory infections down, flu down..in addition to lessening the likelihood of catching COVID. I’ll keep wearing my mask, thank you. Unfortunately it protects others and me not so much-but it offers some protection
