As a tecent transplant recipient who cannot get vaccinated, I’d love to have a factually-based face-to-face conversation with these people about the consequences of their actions (or inaction as the case may be)

But that’s problem: anti-vaxxers don’t subscribe to objective fact. They “believe”. Their stance is basically a religion, not science. They are, in effect, a cult; and their ignorance puts all of us in mortal danger.

You know if I was one of those conspiracy types, I would think that someone is intentionally out to start a pandemic. It fits with all the other pre-apocalyptic nonsense going on currently.

Luck that you are intelligent enough to use Science to understand that if you and others are alive and well is because you were vaccinated in the past. Think about it.

That is incorrect, most of cases of measles have been in unvaccinated children. The vaccines are highly purified to make the levels of its components more than safe. An infant will have more formaldehyde in his/her body from metabolism at any point than with all vaccines.
