This is a nonsensical argument, the Senate has the power to call witnesses. Blaming the House for not doing something that the Senate can also do is disingenuous.

They can, but typically it’s to get clarification from previous testimony presenting in the House investigation. As far as article two, there is no witness to call. The President has a right to due process and to appeal. Also the witnesses wouldn’t provide much new info.

They have the power to enforce the powers given to the by the constitution to override the bogus executive privilege Trump enforced without the need for long drawn out litigation in courts. They decided despite the evidence to acquit him.... this rightfully falls on them.
