    Remember this kid? His dad, the editor of , (released after being arrested) is now facing criminal charges for...a retweet. Lots of friends in Moscow are telling me they’re scared of exactly this: a prison sentence for a tweet or a like.

    One thing to keep an eye on re Myanmar: Facebook, which remains perhaps the most important communications medium there. Just three days ago, Facebook’s “oversight board” forced the platform to reinstate anti-Muslim hate speech, invoking “freedom of expression."

    This is false and dangerous both-sidesism It wrongly distracts from and minimizes the threat of deadly rightwing antisemitism faced by Jewish Americans, putting us in greater peril should delete this and stop holding itself out as speaking on behalf of our community
