I've been on social media since the beginning (MySpace), and it was so different before say 2012: entertaining and fun back then. The entire digital landscape has shifted with paid ads, political toxicity, bots & hostility. Do I need to stay here? I'm not sure.

Right out of college, I was a young production assistant working on music videos. We shot all night to finish this one at SIR Studios in Hollywood with Andy Morahan directing. I even got to stand in for George during lighting.

The Big Sugar Gravel race in Bentonville was one of the hardest days I’ve had on the bike: punishing technical gravel, up and down all day, 2 flats, nearly got taken out by a deer and 30 mph headwinds. But I still love bikes.

There are still a bunch of folks in bike culture who fundamentally think e-bikes are cheating. They mistakenly view e-bikes as replacing bicycle trips rather than car trips. They constantly wonder why folks just won't ride regular bikes. It's tiring how they still don't get it.

Landed in Bentonville, and the bike culture here is just...you have to see it to believe it. The undisputed bike capital of North America, and the infrastructure that is coming in the next 10 years is even more mind-blowing.

open streets event. It could be the best bike experience in the country and like 100k people were out riding. Amazing.

Just watched "Gravel" Worlds. They get to run a race any way they want, but it's just another European road race with women riding shorter distances and lacking the community component that makes American gravel special.
