My first time playing live at a video game event!! So excited! I'll be performing with my electronic project Introspect at the
@Stunfest
in Rennes, France, on May 21, then on May 22 I'll play some of my VGM music in a DJ set at the same event 😃 fun fun fun!!

2-the release! with a longer release the effect will be more subtle / natural sounding, but try reducing the release to the minimum value and you'll start getting all sorts of weird artifacts, which can sound terrible OR really cool if it fits the genre you're producing. 😃(3/3)

... you can really fine tune the effect with the other parameters, in particular: 1-the ratio! by default it's 4:1. you can make it less than that for a more subtle effect or crank it up to "Limit" for an even drasticer (yeah that's not a word, sue me) OTT sound (2/3)

Here's a tip for those of you who use Serum: don't sleep on the parameters of the compressor! esp. for multiband. I often see in videos and presets ppl just turning on the multiband compressor, cranking the gain and leaving the other settings on default, which is ok but... (1/3)
