Innocent civilians are now dead because they were caught in the middle of an unnecessary and unwanted military tit for tat.
My thoughts are with the families and loved ones of all 176 souls lost aboard this flight.

This is a horrible, inhumane thing to say about any group, but especially people who hold liberal, progressive values and who are some of the most empathetic people I've ever encountered. I'm really sad that you view the world through this kind of lens.

Oh give it a rest. Iran accidentally blew a Ukrainian plane out of the sky over Tehran when no sane military unit would have fired- what reason could they possibly have for thinking an object appearing at an airport deep inside Iran was a threat?

Exactly. Although Iran pulled the trigger, Trump needlessly escalated military conflict with Iran and created the environment that made events like this more likely to happen.
