    I mean, my #1 job is to make sure they don't ever BECOME toxic devs, or educators. But preparing them for recognizing and responding when it's encountered are important, and overall more likely scenarios at this point.

    Thinking about ways to support students who are hit hard by the indie game news of late, as they prepare for dev careers. Acknowledging the reality, but giving them tools and awareness to deal with (avoid? confront?) the toxicity experienced by those who have gone before them.

    I think a lot of people have never heard of the link between infectious illness and chronic conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, autoimmune illnesses, etc. It's real and has been known for a long time in health care. Everyone needs to know and understand this now.
