Yyyyup. Feeds into my theory about what exactly we were seeing in the 2016 election. Manafort and Gates and the Podestas were part of a group of lobbyists that had embedded themselves onto each campaign team in the ultimate win-win scenario.
A lot of people still don't know or for some reason can't acknowledge Paul Manafort & Rick Gates were indicted for lobbying Clinton's State Dept. through the Podesta Group & Mercury LLC. It wasn't for work he did with Donald Trump. Read the indictment for yourself. Don't be lazy.

Remember, Manafort was allegedly the one who approached Trump's team during the primaries. I think the scheme was, the lobbyists on the winning side would get access, and broker that to the lobbyists on the losing side, who would make bank anyways via their lobbying.
