Mhh, I don't agree; if you set a small goal and do a weekend jam, it doesn't necessarily equal loss of focus.
mhh, because afterwards you will feel like you've done a lot and are tired? May be true yeah

but time-outs lead to no-progress lulls and may actually be hard to get out of afterwards, I experienced this myself.

Oh I just realized I read that wrong. I thought it meant break up your larger project into smaller jam game haha
