    Any UK lawyers out there? Can my daughter's photo still be used as a "member of the team" 7 months after being made redundant? Website shows 2 team members when there are actually none. She's asked for her pictures to be removed and ex-boss has refused.

    That’s fair but most who pay income tax are PAYE and VAT collected by sellers (not consumers). You’ll notice when you pay IHT

    I find it remarkable that IHT, with its relatively feeble revenue raising ability (due to APR, BPR and inter vivos) is so heartily debated, yet there is little public discourse on income tax or VAT, two taxes that are levied on over 30m+ people!

    Funny how the UK has diverged from the US. Very few tax lawyers spend their time looking for loopholes, and many would regard such an activity as questionable.

    Looking for loopholes is what tax lawyers do. Nothing wrong with it and certainly not immoral or illegal. Treasury's Dana Trier to ABA: “Guys like us, we can’t help it. We think about these fact situations. In some cases, I’m really not bothered by it.”
