Equal parts puns, pediatrics, pop culture. I debunk vaccine myths like Spock & McCoy combined. Yes, I’ve read the inserts. Opinions mine. #ThisIsOurShot

Seriously, HIPAA says, essentially, that people involved in your health care can't share your info with anyone else that doesn't need it for your care. It has nothing to do with people asking you about your vaccine status or a business requiring evidence of vaccination.https://twitter.com/DMRegister/status/1395514686863519747 …

It's as if all these parents of public school children have developed amnesia forgetting that they supply the schools with their kids vaccinations every year.

Eh, some are getting ideas, like the "no vaccine passport" bill in Texas that took the opportunity to try to ban schools (and other places) from requiring *any* vaccinations.

You certainly don’t have to tell anyone if you don’t want to. But it’s not a HIPAA violation, and businesses can require evidence of vaccination if they wish.

Lately, I have been saying that HIPAA only applies to those that already have your records. And of course CEs.
