This comparison is brain dead, even by antivaccine standards.

Thanks for reminding me to point out that flu shots do not increase the risk of miscarriage. I need to include this study in the post.https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0264410X19312447 …

I’m looking forward to reading the studies but noted in the article “Larsen explains that the insert is describing what the drug company itself has done for licensure.” So basically they licence it, use it on people, make buckets of money then other people check if it was safe?
-
No, it’s checked for safety in the healthiest groups, the general public and so on. Then it’s approved. Based on widespread data, other more sensitive groups start getting included in newer studies and use is expanded as it continues to be proven safe.

And no response to this from Rectitude, as far as I can see. Does anyone want to bet he'll make the same claim again in another thread?

I’m not impressed with the 3 studies I’ve read so far. Tiny numbers and comparing unvaxxed sick kids with vaxxed sick kids, where were the groups of kids without flu to compare them to?

Aw thanks for this. Was just explaining to science illiterate people that THE MOM gets the vaccines not the fetus. Ugh
