What language have you used for the corresponding runes? I’m planning to add rune work to myself eventually but I can’t decide if the “translation” is English, my own native tongue or even old Norse straight up
Runes I used are called Elder Futhark. Text is in English only because translating text in English then to old Norse is super hard. I would only use old Norse if I had already translated text for example like from Poetic Edda.

There’s plenty sites that has compiled old Norse to English lexicons so that’s no worry for me! Elder Futhark was more mainland Germanic anyway and pre-Norse. The Norse more widely used younger futhark which is what I’ll plan to do! But thanks

If you feel confident enough and have done research on translation there shouldn’t be a problem! Ahh and younger futhark is way friendlier than the elder
