It took me a long time to understand painting and still struggle a bit with it. Looked on millions of tutorials and other people's art just to get the jist of it 
gosh, i feel like im not this terrible at it but at the same time i see its just not really doing me a thing adskfads. AND AA i can relate so much?? there was time where i would just do study and nothing else, but now i remember so little! Its all about reminding these things!;w;

I found with myself that it's just messing around with different painting styles and finding out what worked well for me and/or emulating another artist's painting style. Still deciding on what I like as I go through the motions a lot
