This doesn't seem right. Mind letting us know if the tablet is running on Android/iOS? Also, please check if the device OS is updated to the latest version. Keep us posted to help you further.

It is a Samsung tablet running on android. I’m not 100% sure what OS but I did update everything when I first started up the tablet. My son got the exact same one and I did the exact same process with both. His app works fine

Thanks for the info. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app updates to see if that makes a difference. Here's how: Open the Settings app > Tap Apps > Tap the YouTube app > Tap ⋮ > Tap Uninstall Updates. Let us know how this goes.

My system is up to date. Android 8.1.0. I uninstalled the app multiple times and reinstalled. I restarted the tablet. Still YouTube kids automatically disables itself and removes the shortcut multiple times a day. Any suggestions?

I am unclear on what you want me to do. It is YouTube kids app that is having problems but the kids app doesn’t have the feedback option in the steps that you described. Should I use my daughters account and go to the regular YouTube app and submit feedback?

I sent the feedback through the app but it seems like it just general feedback & won’t be case by case specific. I did a factory reset on the tablet & downloaded YouTube kids again. It immediately disables itself. I hate this & am frustrated that 1 of my 2 kids can’t use your app
