    Today I asked a serious question in on Human Rights abuses in Bahrain. Many Tories started shouting 👔 and making public schoolboy jibes. Shows their priorities Ties before Torture!

    Real change takes time. Proud to have introduced the Pupil Premium – despite much scepticism at the time.

    Opportunities/outcomes for poorer children in England have improved in Pupil Premium era, in a way not happening before. Findings can be used to help "level up" schooling - in a way that does not start from premise of local failure

    Today I was lucky enough to have my NHS free second covid jab. I am aware not everyone is lucky as us. So I have donated to make sure other's in the world can have the jab too. You can also help a jab for a jab! 👇👇👇 Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance

    🗓️ 30 April: I wrote to requesting a meeting to discuss & disappearance of 50+ political prisoners from Jau Prison in . 🗓️ 3 May: I repeated my request. 🗓️ 4 May: Families of missing prisoners also asked for a meeting. We have all been ignored.
