If you were OK with “mostly peaceful riots and looting” in the summer you should be OK with it today. If you condemned it and called it what it was in the summer then you should condemn it and call it what it is today. And leave the “yeah but...” nonsense at home.

Journalists who follow the far-right, pro-Trump movement have been warning for weeks that January 6 had real potential for violence. Unbelievable that more wasn't done to secure the Capitol building ahed of these protests.
