I really love how Enrique Breccia incorporated the actual surface of the paper as a sand dune on this page.

There was a part of this story I'm writing that was too complicated, with too many strands going in all directions, but don't worry I've fixed it! By, uh, adding even more strands. (I swear I know what I'm doing)

Finishing a pitch always takes me 10 times longer than I expect. I continuously think it's only 1 or 2 pages worth of work / ideas, and forget that it's actually 10 or 20 pages of ideas distilled down to those 1 or 2 pages.

No more letting the jokes slide. They are not harmless. No more "me love you long time." No more "flied lice." No more "you bleak you buy." No more "China virus." No more "Kung Flu." You hear that shit, you call it out.

Here's a sneak peek at that "mistake ridden" page. I added the quarter so you could see the size she works at. (just between us, I think her art is unmatched)

My wife just finished illustrating a page of Bandette and I praised her for how good it was but she gets nervous when she gets overly praised so I told her there were all sorts of obvious mistakes and now she feels better.
