One of my favorite Transient Luminous Event sequences of late. Rarely seen 'pixies' (mini lightning discharges) dancing on a storm top. could be indicative of big hail bouncing around up there. Not much research on these little fellas. youtube.com/watch?v=Z9j2rL #okwx

My flight to OKC last night was like heaven. Skimmed front line of the storms by a few dozen miles and got a front row seat of a neat sprite somewhere close to Tulsa. Through turbulence, I was mesmerized by the lightning-lit clouds and airglow. I could've stayed all night #okwx

An absolute unit of a supercell passes by Walsh, Colorado last night. The supercell was tornado warned at one point and produced nearly 4” diameter hail in Springfield.
