Science disagrees with you, as does the WHO. Every patient does, however, have a choice whether to undergo treatment in the event of a positive diagnosis.

Mammals are sexually dimorphic & you cannot change sex. You can present yourself in a more masculine way and make cosmetic alterations to your body but you remain female. Gender is a social construct which changes over time and is imposed upon us by patriarchy to subjugate women.

Your right, you cannot change your gender - but the issue is that gender is definied by your brain and so what you need to do is align your body with the way your brain has been programmed - if your are born female and have a female brain you never question this - but trans dopic.twitter.com/CNx5pzotEW

Every male born has a male brain. Every female born has a female brain. There is no distinct sexed brain or wrong brain, wrong body. It’s simply feelings and the conditioning by society that results in the perception that the body is wrong.

Interesting that people arguing trans people don’t exist also argue there is no difference in brain structure between males and females. The evidence continues to argue for the existence of trans people. Even if you don’t believe that, their existence remains.

Do you believe that men and women have different brains? Excuse me but I cannot agree. Do you realise how historically such arguments have been made to justify the unequal relations between the sexes? I.e. men are rational and women are emotional. It was disproved long ago.

Yes- look at David Reimer- tragic case of Canadian boy whose parents were convinced to raise him as a girl after circumcision went wrong- he was raised female, body was female, but he just knew he wasn’t - they told him in early teens but it ended in suicide- your brain tells you

Because he was born male!! His chromosomes, DNA.... everything was male. Identical twin studies disprove ‘born in the wrong body’

So He had a Male brain - if your saying there is no such thing then there is no difference and being raised female wouldn’t conflict with his brain - if you agree there is a difference then that’s my point

He had male everything. His brain was male because it was in his body which was Male. Your brain is not separate from the body. It’s part of your body like your heart and lungs are.

Exactly! He had a MALE brain!! but you’re saying there is no difference - the social conditioning was everone told him he was female - his parents, his clothes, his body - but his MALE brain told him he wasn’t - you can’t then say there’s no such thing as a make or female brain

FGS! Have you forgotten what this thread is about - you are in a thread disputing that Male and Female have different brains, yet you’ve spent the last 4-5 tweets telling me that DR had a MALE Brain! Just think about it, you really can’t have it both ways!pic.twitter.com/xbCujt6ktF

He was Male ffs! We are born with our brains on our sexed bodies which mean our brains are in our bodies which means EVRYTHNG in my body is female and everything in yours is male. There is NO DISTINCT SEXED BRAIN! Clearly some of us are born without a brain......

Clearly that’s you! - again - nature expects us to have 2 kidneys, to be straight, yes, to be as nature intended - what planet are you from that you can’t understand that nature doesn’t always work that way - it’s not a choice - having a Male brain and a female body happens
