The UK has moved a long way in a short time. Wasn't so long ago that UK Government was running static to prevent progress on a global minimum corporation tax. Thankfully this changed in the summer of 2021.

Hardly a "crackdown". Just six criminal convictions
Being banned as a company director for a few years after being found guilty of loan misuse and your business already insolvent is an awfully weak deterrent. No wonder the suffering a fraud epidemic

What's significant here is that any large multinational operating in Austrailia will need to produce a breakdown of income, profits & taxes *across the world*
The new rules don't just apply to large MNCs headquartered in Oz - eg could capture Amazon!
