Please ask why so many are ill or at risk? Did they personally take COVID-19 seriously? Is this emblematic of their approach to public health? They took too long to act. They still have not done enough.
NEW: Have just had it confirmed that Michael Gove is self-isolating. A member of his family is displaying symptoms, but he remains well himself. Gove continues to work, as per his round of interviews this morning. But yet another challenge for this government to work around.

Precisely. If ever there was a time to bring in people based on talent and experience it's now. They need to hand over the reigns to experts, including past politicians, and stabilise and co-ordinate the coronavirus response. But do they have the national self-interest at heart?

Question: what happens if the entirety of the cabinet end up getting Coronavirus to the point they can't work? I seem to recall others saying there's no clear chain of command like there is in other countries such as the US
