    Here’s hoping people see through the AU gov’s not-zero net-zero “plan” so that at the upcoming election we can get a new gov with the courage to take real action.

    The reason Scott Morrison knows he’s pretty safe with an obvious non-policy on climate is that most of the mainstream media tries to be politically even-handed, & is inclined to show respect to a PM, writes in today's The New Daily Starter.

    Just because he can’t provide the political leadership that is required doesn’t mean it’s not absolutely necessary. Bring on the election.

    Prime Minister Scott Morrison has told COP26 that scientists, not politicians, will come up with the fix for climate change.

    Mr Morrison is treating leaders of other countries like he treats state premiers - as political opponents. His furious attempt at damage control will only make world leaders trust him even less. This mess is a reflection of Mr Morrison’s character - not a sledge against us all.
