    Springfield Avenue (just off the junction with Springfield Gardens amd opppsite the play area). Could do with some tlc here (litter, weeds and foliage), can't imagine kids wanting to see this whilst playing.

    I’m running 10k perday in December in Batley,the last 10k at midnight Xmas Eve/Day dressed as Santa for NSPCC to raise £’s for calls that support vulnerable children.Please wave if you see me, I will need lots of support to get through 250km

    1/2 Victor Walker was born 1st May 1897. In 1901 & 1911 his family are living in Batley, latterly at 38 Halifax Road, where 13yo Victor is working as a pawnbroker’s assistant. Some time later Victor with his family moved to Bridle Lane, .

    ***LOCK DOWN UPDATE *** We are continuing to open as normal, providing food for people referred to us. We are open Monday to Friday, 1 till 3 pm. It's looking, sadly, as if demand is increasing.

    Local councillors should be able to discuss with the police in your area- we do it in Kirkburton ward and the police are very responsive- actually asking is to suggest problem areas
