We need to make sure we have a strong pipeline to recruit, train, and retain more health professionals, particularly in rural and underserved areas, and we need to make sure that pipeline includes professionals who have different backgrounds and specialties.

I live in rural WA & know 5 people with Lyme. I work for the SD and pull ticks off kids on the regular. Exposure is high and the disease is life altering. Doctors are uneducated and testing is inaccurate. Kids will now suffer as I have.
