If you're not going hard on the manufacturers who bribe MDs to over prescribe, and the MDs who do so, the bill is meaningless. Just as you do with heroin dealers, arrest, fine, jail, and seize assets. Otherwise, you're passing gas against a hurricane.

I'd like to know what will happen to those with chronic pain & follow their pain contracts? Pain contracts are extremely regimented. My mom has chronic pain & I don't want to see her pain medication taken away, because of abuse from others.

Please don't vote for a "feel good" law. Not all opiates are equal. E.g., heroin v. Percocet. Many people have real pain but doctors are too afraid to prescribe pain meds even when warranted. No one dies from taking their prescription meds AS PRESCRIBED.

My girlfriend is in remission from multiple myeloma. She has completely gotten off opioids including fentanyl, using medical marijuana. It’s time to get marijuana decriminalized and rescheduled.
