Jeez- these responses are harsh. With more affordable childcare, it helps to keep more skilled people in the workforce. Mind you that is the rate for Tri Cities - you might be surprised how much it is here in Seattle area.

It's short-sighted selfish thinking. All of society benefits from children being fed, sheltered, & educated, & from ppl's ability to support their families financially in whatever way works best for them.

Pay everyone enough and government won't have to subsidize. Government can't make money but they do. Control the corporation & their greed you will prosper. But instead you all allow them to pay people medical pay because you give them the power to screw the people
