Republicans have pushed us into two government shutdowns this year, but I am very hopeful that we can work together to avoid that now. We are so close to getting this done.

Just one example of priorities in this bill: making sure our VA hospitals get the investments they need to make sure veterans get the care they earned in their service to our country.

Really the VA needs to cut the fat from the top down. We veterans get treated like a 5 class citizens at the VA! How about you force them to actually work instead of hiding behind the union! 5 men watching and 1 working.

I wish we could get some people that care in the Burien social security office unlike Mr Young there. I applied for disability and have been ignored. He does return calls or emails. I may be homeless soon if something doesn’t get done.

The military doesn't need an increase they need an audit & needs to stop endless "military action" for profit with no accountability. We need single payer, investment in public schools. I don't trust Congress to act in the people's interests at all they haven't for too long.
