Republicans have pushed us into two government shutdowns this year, but I am very hopeful that we can work together to avoid that now. We are so close to getting this done.

We’ve worked together to restore, and in many cases even increase, investments in education, health care, and other domestic and military priorities.

Just one example of priorities in this bill: making sure our VA hospitals get the investments they need to make sure veterans get the care they earned in their service to our country.
