The cost of medical is too high, like the rent is too high, and the cost of food is too high. Maybe if worker wages could keep up with the rapid increase of prices, this would be less of an issue.
Without protections for pre-existing conditions, patients could be forced to make the tough decision between forgoing treatment and taking on crippling medical debt.
