More murders are committed by hand guns that assault rifles. Hell knives kill more people. But banning anything just makes a black market for that item. (Drugs) If your serious about saving lives let's ban cars cause people drive dunk and kill!

There's no such thing as an 'assault' rifle. Oh we know, you just want a moniker you attach anything you want to it. We had a 10 year ban that did nothing. But a similar ban now will guarantee to get you de-elected next time around. It's *NOT* the gun!!

While I agree that there is no PRACTICAL reason to have an AR-15 it will be close to impossible to ban it's ownership by the 98+% who own one responsibly
