Thanks to DACA, Jose Manuel was able to graduate from @UW, start a tech business, & volunteer at local non-profits.
Or Dreamers like one Pasco, WA resident who was 4 when he was flown to the U.S. Years later, after he enrolled in DACA, he was able to quit working in manual labor & start a new job as a personal banker. Hundreds of thousands of Dreamers have a similar story.
Dreamers are the embodiment of so much of what this country was founded upon & today we have a new chance to finally fix our broken immigration system for Dreamers in WA & nationwide who call our country home.
I can't believe we are even having to discuss Dreamers! It should be a non issue! As children they had no say in coming here! And some (sadly) deported that severed in the military!
