I’m in default of mine. I do not trust the company who owns it. They are being investigated. Have paid since 2007, and total NEVER went down. All Interest. Will have debt til I die.

I am one of their white peers. I have defaulted on my loan. This was well after I graduated from High School. I wanted to start my own business but needed schooling first. I had to drop out because I couldn't afford it and raise our 2 children and pay bills.

Get the liberal universities to quit offering the “nothing degrees”. These degrees are easy to get along with all the debt, but do not lead to a job in the market place. Sone people are better off taking vocational training.
