We cannot allow schools colleges to close the door on the students who have the most to gain from higher education simply because they may face additional challenges than their more advantaged peers.

You need to change how colleges educate. You used to get experience by having to conduct internships and practical application of your education. Now it’s just classroom and graduate.But still can’t get a job because you need experience to get the job but can’t get exp W/0the job

compiles list of things that should NOT be for "profit", other than to those that need it: Education, Health Care, Insurance, Food, Shelter. Those that have more than the basics seem to think nobody needs any consideration.

I agree, I attended a community college in Florida when I was in my 40s and had no idea how to work the system to my advantage. I even went to a college counselor for help but was not guided. I am now with interest $40,000 in debt.
