Mind boggling, isnt it? I always wondered if the male nurses I worked with made the same per hour that I did. There were rumours! I know that the wages for RNs increased 20% but those of us in management were not included. So the floor nurses made more than I did as a dept mgr!

Why not pay based on merit instead of sex? As it is more reliable to hire and pay for someone qualified instead of someone who has specific genitals in their pants, at least I'd like to believe that
