Far too many students are held back from even applying to schools because it is simply not affordable. Navigating our complex financial aid system can be overwhelming— especially for first generation students.

We need sweeping improvements to federal financial aid so student loan servicers are held accountable and students know where to go for help, that repayment is simple, and relief is within reach.

Government is making money off of student loans so you can buy a car for 0% interest for 5 years but you'll pay interest not to the bank - but the government for your student loan we are falling behind as a nation because of our regressive policies

One way to make HIGHER EDUCATION more EQUITABLE is to make COMMUNITY INTERNET a REALITY. Imagine the options & access to deliver EDUCATION. Would make a cheap investment in potential for community, expand STEM grads, lower crime by giving youth opportunity, ETC

Let me get this straight, you want GOV controlled internet? The same GOV that controls student loans? Rural comms have internet, I live it. Those who desire higher ed will pursue it, again I lived it. Subsidized internet only helps the business subsidized.
